This is an excellent preventative for crabgrass, as well as suppression of other listed weeds when applied before the weeds germinate. It also helps as a post-emergent control of crabgrass up to four weeks after it has germinated and emerged. Do not apply any later than four weeks after crabgrass has germinated. The 12-pound bag covers 3,500 square feet and the 35-pound bag covers 10,000 square feet.
